The overall task for this position is to significantly increase the number of sales leads while also improving lead quality, via Digital Marketing techniques and programs specifically within the Enterprise and large Managed Service Provider marketplace worldwide.

The main task will be to manage a Digital Marketing program that develops, implements, tracks and optimizes our digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels and to do so within budgetary guidelines and constraints.

As a result of our rapid international growth, we are seeking to add an IT Engineer Intern to our talented technical team.



  • Drive new traffic to website via various sources, SEO/SEM, create search keyword list, produce SEO content specifically focussed on the Backup and Restore marketplace and improve it constantly
  • Create and run national and international digital campaigns specifically tuned to the needs of local lead generation
  • Boost current email marketing campaigns by driving better click-through and more leads
  • Design, build and maintain our social media presence
  • Marketing database creation
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels
  • Provide input into prioritization of various digital marketing projects and tasks
  • Involvement/management of content creation


  • Proven working experience in digital marketing for subscription-based backup and recovery software vendor
  • Proven track record of lead numbers growth (2x and more) in limited budget requirements for enterprise software vendors
  • Experience in Sugar, Odoo, Mautic and Mailchimp CRMs and email nurturing systems
  • Experience in integrating these systems between each other and with WordPress CMS by using webhooks and Zapier
  • Experience in WordPress CMS (including theme and template changes) and knowledge of popular WordPress plugins
  • Understanding of company’s products and services in both open source and proprietary versions in order to deliver correct and impactful messaging to correct audiences
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Proven track record of significantly improving organic traffic numbers and of promoting keywords with > 30 000 search volume in the US Google to the first page
  • Experience in adjusting the website to Google search algorithm updates (Panda, Penguin and others)
  • Experience with creating local SEO content in English, German and French languages including
    finding translatorsAssist in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Experience in optimising landing pages and user funnels in English, German, French and Spanish languages
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
  • Good knowledge of website A/B testing tools (e.g., Google Optimize, Optimizely)
  • Ability to create A/B testing programs to improve conversion, proven results of A/B tests that improved KPIs
  • Experience in setting up and optimising Google Adwords, LinkedIn Ads, Bing Ads, ReddIt Ads and Quora Ads campaigns, display advertising campaigns or similar tools, defining budget, account
    setup & management, campaign & keyword constant optimization, adding new campaigns/promotions
  • Proven case studies of significantly decreasing cost-per-lead in both Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads advertising campaigns, ability to deliver maximum number of leads with minimum budgets with optimal allocation
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and regExp development and constraints
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI to create dashboards from Google Analytics and CRM data
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement, with proven experience in deploying A/B measuring tools
  • Carrying out a philosophy of continual improvement and optimization of digital marketing techniques and tools
  • Ability to present compelling reasons for investment and to show compelling evidence of R0I to senior managers and budget owners
  • Must be fluent in English, German, another language is a plus.
