NDMP CAB (Cluster Aware Backup)
When a NetApp cluster is installed, Bacula’s NDMP module will connect automatically on the node that is hosting the disk volume.
The CAB extension is a proprietary NDMP extension designed to speed up NetApp clusters. The configuration has never been easier with Bacula. With many other backup solutions it is necessary to configure the NetApp cluster and associate a virtual IP address to the volume. But with Bacula, it is fully automatic and fully integrated into Bacula’s BWeb GUI.
