Bacula Systems has been named in the “20 Most Promising Backup Solution Providers” List by CIOReview.

CIOReview works to identify “The Best” in a variety of areas important to tech business. Through nominations and consultations with industry leaders, its editors choose the best in different domains. “Bacula Systems has been on our radar for some time now for stirring a revolution in the Backup Technologies” said Jeevan George, Managing Editor, CIOReview.

One of the key reasons why Bacula Systems is receiving increased exposure at the moment is that combined with its advanced features being relevant to industry needs today, it does not charge per-Terabyte, nor indeed for data volume at all. This makes a significant difference to large data centers - and indeed the industry as a whole - who are struggling with explosive data growth - and the last thing they need is to be penalized by their storage vendor for data volume. In large data centers, this factor is taken seriously in both the IT department and at the executive level alike. "Our advantage is that we significantly reduce the TCO for our customers' backup and storage requirements with a product and support that means our customers can sleep at night" said Bacula Systems' CEO, Frank Barker.

CIOReviews' positioning is based on evaluation of Bacula Systems’ specialties in its solution that is highly reliable and has proven performance in mission-critical enterprise environments.
