The Bacula Systems Administrator Course is for beginners, and offers you an opportunity to achieve certification in understanding and operating Bacula technology to a proficient level.
&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;
This three day course is designed to help systems administrators install and configure a Bacula environment quickly,, and operate it effectively for reliable day-to-day backup operations and restores. Beginning with a brief overview of fundamental concepts, participants learn how to compile and install the software, and configure it to operate in a test environment.
&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;
After the course, participants will receive certification, and know how to do the following:
&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;

 * Obtain the Bacula code&lt;br /&gt;
 * Build, install and configure the software on their own system&lt;br /&gt;
 * Design a back-up scheme&lt;br /&gt;
 * Disk-based back-up&lt;br /&gt;
 * Auto-changer based back-up&lt;br /&gt;
 * Debug problems&lt;br /&gt;
 * Monitor day-to-day operations&lt;br /&gt; * Configure Bacula and perform a restore
