The Bacula Systems Administrator Course is for beginners, and offers you an opportunity to achieve certification in understanding and operating Bacula technology to a proficient level.
This three day course is designed to help systems administrators install and configure a Bacula environment quickly,, and operate it effectively for reliable day-to-day backup operations and restores. Beginning with a brief overview of fundamental concepts, participants learn how to compile and install the software, and configure it to operate in a test environment.
After the course, participants will receive certification, and know how to do the following:
* Obtain the Bacula code
* Build, install and configure the software on their own system
* Design a back-up scheme
* Disk-based back-up
* Auto-changer based back-up
* Debug problems
* Monitor day-to-day operations
* Configure Bacula and perform a restore
